I 1st ordered these in May, 2022. I'm writing this in October 2025. These socks have been wonderful, ans I think almost 3.5 years of wear put of them is more than acceptable. I've finally lost 2 of the original 10 pairs to holes, and others are getting threadbare. So I'm ordering new ones. Other athletic socks I've worn in the intervening years just don't feel as sturdy, and these give great cushioning and comfort. I've been more than happy with my purchaese.

These EnerWear cotton crew socks have been a pleasant surprise. Right out of the pack, they feel thick, soft, and sturdy—substantial enough that you know they’ll last, but not overly heavy or suffocating. The blend does a nice job of wicking moisture, which is something I noticed after wearing them all day in work boots; my feet stayed relatively dry, and the socks didn’t sag or lose shape.

The cushioning is probably the highlight here. There’s just enough padding in the sole to make long walks or hours on your feet more comfortable, without being bulky inside shoes. I wore these both with sneakers and boots, and in both cases, they struck the right balance of comfort and fit.

Sizing runs true (I’m usually in the middle of the listed range), and they grip well around the calf without cutting off circulation. After a couple of washes, they’ve held up without thinning or shrinking—a good sign for long-term use.

If I were to nitpick, these are not the kind of socks you’d want for ultra-light summer wear; they run on the thicker side, so best for cooler weather, work, or everyday use.

These socks are great. I wear work boots 6 days every week, year round. These socks are comfortable and durable. My last 10 pack lasted well over a year before any holes appeared – much longer than other socks I've purchased in retail stores which is pretty darn good in workboots. Only note is that they will feel "too big" when you first wear them (they fit mens sizes 10 – 13) so being a 10 they were a little loose for the first few washings now they are perfect (and they don't shrink any smaller). Will definitely get them again next year.
