One person was shot during an interaction with federal law enforcement agents in New York City on Thursday, according to the New York Police Department.
According to the NYPD, which said it was not involved in the shooting, the person is conscious and receiving medical attention.

The shooting, “involving federal law enforcement agents,” occurred around 4 p.m. ET in the upper Manhattan neighborhood of Marble Hill, the NYPD said.
“The NYPD was not involved in the incident and was not on scene at the time of the shooting,” the NYPD said in a statement on X. “The individual who was shot is at a nearby hospital and is currently conscious and receiving medical attention.”
