Alicia Sanchez and Luci Peraza wanted to move somewhere with a better quality of life for them and their 7-year-old daughter. They eventually found it outside the U.S. when they purchased a five-bedroom, two-bathroom home in southern Spain for only $72,000. They renovated the backyard and added a pool and also opened an art studio in the small village where they now live. They now plan to open their home and studio to travelers looking for an authentic Andalusian experience.
